DESCRIPTION   3 mile E. Hurlock, Dor. County (2), September 17th; Pocomoke State Forest, Wo. County, June 29th; Vaughn WMA, Wo. County, September 19th (2); Assateague Island, Wo. County, September 20th. This large phycitine occurs from Rye, New York, the New Jersey Pine Barrens to Key West, Florida and Brownsville, Texas, wherever the foodplants are available. It has also been collected at Indian River Bay, Delaware( Henrich, 1956:240). The larvae feed on prickly pear cactus, Opuntia sp. e r
