DESCRIPTION   A 2002 image was taken August 6th @ H. The 2004 images were taken August 27th. Identification was by John Glaser of Baltimore, MD. According to John the larvae feed on pine, probably loblolly and pitch pine in this area. They bore into the cambium of the trunk, branches, and twigs, sometimes causing considerable damage to the trees. This was originally nammed D. zimmermani but has been reorganized. Described by Mutuura and Munroe in 1979 but missed in the 1983 Checklist. e r
