LeCompte WMA, June 29th,1995 and Fishing Bay WMA, August 30th,1998, both Dor. County; Deal Island WMA, Somerset County, August 29th,1966; Plummer's Island, Montgomery County, June. Occurs from Pennsylvania to Florida, west to Illinois and Arkansas. The only known larva of the tribe Macrothecini (not unipuncta) is predacious on scale insects (Forbes, 1923:535).
