Sideling Hill WMA, Raven Rock Hollow, Wash. County; Pleasant Hill, Cecil County; Frederick, Frederick County; Bush Declaration, Harford County; Plummer's Island and Glen Echo, Montgomery County; Susquehanna State Park, Harford County; Piscataway Park and Bowie, PG. County. May 15th to August 24th. Also collected at Delaware City, Delaware; and old specimens in USNM labeled Wash. DC. Occurs from central New York to the Gulf States and west to Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas and East Texas. Two adults in the USNM were reared from sycamore, Platanus occidentalis. Identification was by John Glaser of Berkeley Springs, WV.
