Rare and apparently limited to western Maryland. All. and Gar. Counties. June 27th to September 14th. The species has been reared from a number of trees and shrubs, including alder, aspen, paper birch, cherry, wild raisin and willow. It is essentially boreal, extending south into Maryland along the Appalachians.
