Rare and taken only on the Appalachian Plateau at Frostburg Reservoir, July 9th and 13th; Poplar Lick in the Savage River State Forest, July 9th and Cranesville Pine Swamp, June 24th, all Garrett County. Larvae feed on a variety of northern conifers.
