The 2004 image was taken September 30th from Hurlock, Dorchester County, MD. Locally common in the Coastal Plain, mostly on the lower Eastern Shore. A.A., Dor., Wic. and Wo. Counties. October 7th to 23rd. Occurs as two color phases, pale gray and deep red, both similarly marked. Early stages unknown.
