Locally common in the Coastal Plain and adjacent Piedmont. A.A., Balt., Charles, Dor., Har., PG., Somerset and Wo. Counties. A very large population exists at the Soldiers Delight Serpentine Barren in Baltimore County. April 1st to October 2nd. Foodplant is unknown. Two variations are shown.
