DESCRIPTION |
|
This is an undescribed Polypogon, sibling to lituralis, which was under study by the late D. Ferguson. Like lituralis, it is also common but with most Maryland records from the mountains of All., Gar. and Wash. Counties. It is similarly marked, but overall is darker and more mottled than lituralis. June 3rd to July 19th.
