Uncommon, but widespread in Maryland. Sp. is near I. aemula. Balt., Dor., Gar., Har. and Wash Counties. June 4th to October 22. Curiously this species has been known for over 40 years, but has yet to be named. Forbes (1954) mistakenly placed it as concisa Walker. The specimen was provided and identified by Dr. John Glaser of Berkeley Springs, WV.
