The 2005 image was taken August 9th, 1993 from Frostburg Reservoir, Garrett County, MD. Abundant on the Appalachian Plateau, mostly bog-associated, absent eastward in the state. Garrett County, July 27th to September 5th. Larva reared on dandelion and rabbit-brush, but primary host locally is unknown.
