Rare. Five specimens; Soldiers Delight Serpentine Barren, Balt. County, July 4th to 5th; Severn Run Environmental Area, A.A. County, August 6th; and Deal Island WMA, Somerset County, June 17th and July 30th. This species is extremely variable in color and maculation. Color ranges from nearly white to dark-grey and immaculate to examples with a central blackish streak across the width of the forewing.
