Scarce and local. Five specimens from Southaven, A.A. County, July 22nd to October 4th, two taken on Assateague Island, September 23rd and October 6th and several from Eastern Neck NWR, Kent County, September 5th and 9th. At bait and light. The moth is essentially southeastern and flies north in late summer or fall. Bred from cotton in the southern states.
