Common over the state. All., A.A., Calvert, Charles, Dor., Gar., Har, Ho., PG., Talbot and Wo. Counties. August 13th to Setember 28th. Larva bores into sedges growing mostly in non-tidal wetlands. The specimen was provided and identified by Dr. John Glaser of Berkeley Springs, WV.
