The image was taken June 20th, 1993 from Green Ridge State Forest, Allegany County, MD. Common over State. All., A.A., Balt., Calvert, Charles, Har., Kent, P.G., Talbot and Wash. Counties. April 28th to September 15th. A number of deciduous trees are host to this species, including apple, mountain ash, birch, cherry, elm, plum and willow.
