The 2004 (M) images (same moth) were taken April 22nd. The moth was from Bob Patterson of Bowie, Prince Georges County, MD. Frequent in western Maryland. Rare elsewherein State. All., Charles, Garrett, P.G. and Wash. Counties. April 22nd to August 5th. Caterpillar on many deciduous trees and shrubs, including alder, aspen, pin cherry, hickory, poplar and willow.
