The 2004 (F) images were taken July 23rd. The 2003 (M) images were taken July 28th @ H. The 2004 (M) images were taken July 19th. The 2004 moths were provided by Bob Patterson of Bowie, MD. Larva feeds on apple, ashes, birches, chestnut, dogwoods, hikories, oaks, persimmon, willows, and other woody plants. The larva (Monkey Slug) has stinging hairs.
