DESCRIPTION   The 2004 image was taken June 17th @ H. Adults appear when the Yucca flower blooms. Wing span is 0.6 inch or 1.53 cm as shown. Larva food is Yuccas. Usually Yucca filamentosa in our area. The (F) punctures the pistil of the flower, inserts (1) egg per puncture, and then packs pollen into the opening. This provides a seed supply for the larve and ensures pollinization of the flower. e r
