The spread image was taken June 23rd, 1994 from the Glades of Cherry Creek, Garrett County, MD. The 2006 images were taken May 29th @ H. Covell states "that larva bores in roots of alders that are partially submerged in water." Life cycle takes two years. First time seen in my home.
