NAME   Synchlora frondaria avidaria
HODGES   7059A
DISPLAY #   722
DESCRIPTION   The 2002 image was taken June 15th near the San Pedro River in Hereford, AZ. This is the smallest "Emerald" I have ever seen. The wing span of the image on the letterhead as shown is .75" or 1.9 cm. It has been magnified 100%. The elevation was 7000 feet. It is the smallest specimen shown in Fergrson's Geometroidea,Part 8: Plate 3 Number 67 for the similar geographical area. Thanks to Ronald Leuschner for the identification. Ron identified all my AZ and CA moths. e r
