The 2002 (M) images were taken during the period of April 13th to the 21st near the San Pedro River in Hereford, AZ. This is the smallest Synchlora (Emerald) I have ever seen. The image with the Vermillion Flycatcher on the upper left hand corner is a letter head on a piece of stationary. The wing span as shown is less than .75 inches or .295 cm. The single image was magified to show the detail. Synchlora aerata liquoraria is depicted in D.C.Fergurson's Fascicle 18.1 Geometrinae. Ronald Leuschner of Manhatten Beach, CA identified this moth.
