The 2005 image was taken July 8th from the Prettyboy Reservoir, Balt. Co., MD. Common. Most sp. collected on the lower Eastern Shore. Balt., Dor., Som., Talbot and Wo. Counties. June 8th to July 28th. Wing span is 26 to 28 mm much smaller than N. pellucidaria. The late Douglas Ferguson thought that this wasn't even the correct species. He was going to revise the genus but never got to it. Reared from Pinus taeda. The specimen was provided and identified by Dr. John Glaser of Berkeley Springs, WV.
