The 2004 (M) images (same moth) were taken April 12th @ H. At first I thought this was a butterfly because it's wings at rest were in a vertical position. The top right image is an underneath view displaying the brillant colors before I ruined the top view by mounting it. Larva feed on basswood, beeches, birches, maples, oaks and other forest trees.
