Meadow Mt. Run Bog, Garrett County, July 14th, 1994, one male; another, very worn, probably this species, Green Ridge State Forest, All. County, June 10th, 1992. This is the eastern subspecies of unifascialis, which was first described from California. It occurs in much of southern Canada and south to New Jersey, Pennsylvanis and Illinois. These are the first records for Maryland. Larva known only from an Antennaria sp. but probably has a much greater range of hosts.
