Balt., Cecil, Charle, Dor., Har., Kent, Montgomery, P.G. and Wo. Counties. June 1st to September 23rd. A common species from Maine to Illinois to Costa Rica but mainly southern. Larva reported on pigweed, Amaranthus retroflexus L., as well as on species of Mentha, Ipomoes, Nicotiana and Rumex.
