A.A., Balt., Car., Cecil, Dor., Gar., Har., Montgomery, P.G.,Wash. and Wic. Counties. July 23rd to October 9th. Occurs thoughout most of the U.S. and southern Canada. Larva probably feeding on various mints although definitely recorded only from peppermint, Mentha peprita L., boring in the rhizomes. Regarded as a pet where peppermint is grown commerically in Oregon.
