All., A.A., Balt., Cecil, Charles, Dor., Garrett, Harford, Montgomery, P.G., Queen Annes and Wo. Counties. May 14th to June 29th and July 16th to August 22nd. Both these species of Crocidophora and C. tuberculalis apparently have two broods. Occurs thoughout much of the eastern U.S. from Maine southward. The only reported foodplant is cut-grass, Leersia oryzoides (L.)Sw. (Munroe, 1976:22).
