Two specimens collected in the Chicamuxen WMA, Charles County, August 5th, 1997. The larva of this species, heretofore known from Florida north to southeastern Virginia, webs the terminal leaves of cane (Arundinaria). One of the few stands of Arundinaria in Maryland is located on the floodplain of Reeder Creek n the Chicamuxen refuge.
