DESCRIPTION   The 2002 (F) image was taken during the period of July 19th to August 3rd @ H. The 2004 (F) image was taken June 17th. The specimen was provide by Bob Patterson of Bowie, MD. A.A., Balt., Dor., Frederick, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, P.G., Wic. and Wo. Counties. May 14th to July 4th and July 24th to August 25th. Occurs in the eastern half of the United States and in Bermuda. The larvae feed on cabbage, other related plants and on peppergrass, Lepidium virginicum L. (Brassicaceae), the latter probably being the natural host (Dyar, 1900; Shapiro, 1968; Ferguson, Hilburn and Wright, 1991). e r
