DESCRIPTION   The 2004 (F) and (M) images were taken July 9th @ H. All., A.A., Balt., Calvert, Charles, Dor., Gar., Har., Kent, P.G., Montgomery, Somerset, St. Marys, Wash. and Wo. Counties. May 17th to July 4th and July 24th to October 11th. A common and widespread species of eastern and central North America that feeds on various aquatic plants, including waterlilies, and sometimes a minor pest. It has been introduced into Hawaii and England (Munroe, 1972:99) presumably with aquarium plants. Larva makes a case out of plant parts. e r
