The 2004 images were taken July 8th. The moth was provided by Bob Patterson of Bowie, MD. Identification was by John Glaser of Baltimore, MD. The antenna has white and brown rings past the thickened basal half. One can see this spectacular color under a micropscope. But alas my camera has its limits. Larva food is clover seeds.
