The image was taken June 14th, 1998 from Taylors Island, Dorchester County, MD. Uncommon. Balt., Dor., Gar. and Wo. Counties. May 8th to July 8th. This is a southern species at or near its northern range limit in Maryland. Larva on dandelion and perhaps other low plants. The specimen was provided and identified by Dr. John Glaser of Berkeley Springs, WV.
